What (and Who) is Melchizedek?

• What few stories we have: We have three important references of Melchizedek in the Bible that give us an idea of who Melchizedek was and what it represents.

• The Representation of God on Earth: There may be something symbolic or literal here, when we are told that Melchizedek had no mother or father, no Earthly lineage.

• A Conceptual Principle of Good: Melchizedek Blesses Abraham and his generations, essentially starting the Abrahamic Tradition, to only be mentioned far later, in reference to Christ being second in the Order of Melchizedek. Meaning there has been no spiritual teacher like Melchizedek, until this moment. Christ is the epitome of right action and good. He is a product of the Order. An order than transcends material teachings. This is another key to understand who and what Melchizedek is. This understanding of what Christ represents as a spiritual teacher is the key to understanding what Melchizedek means.

• A Priest King (& Queen): When Christ says that we will do far greater things than he, just as he built upon what Melchizedek did on Earth, we are called to be Third in the Order. We live up to our duty by listening to the teachings of Christ.

The Order of Melchizedek (OM) is Constructed Upon Four Major Pillars.

1. The Right Hand Path: Understand human righteousness, right action and their opposites of wickedness and sin.
