The Seat of the Soul: Understanding and Caring for Your Pineal Gland

“Opening” & “Activating” The Pineal Gland

I will often use colloquial, new-age terms like “Activate your pineal gland” or “Open your third eye” only as a familiar starting point, before clarifying their genuine meaning. By using scientific process and logical explanations we will bring these otherwise abstract concepts into a coherent conversation in plain language. We start with a phrase you are all familiar with (Like, “Opening your third eye”) so that everyone is on the same page. Then we root that otherwise incomplete and often mischaracterized phrase and concept into a rational and scientific understanding.

It’s very important that you understand that this book is not another loosey-goosey manifesto where the author uses obscure words and phrases (never explaining what they actually mean). I’m not going to pretend I’m an ascended master from Zenebul-Ganoobi. I’m not going to tell you I am from some special bloodline or have a direct connection to higher powers that you can’t access. I’m going to tell you, clearly and concisely, how you can do everything I can do and more, using reasonable approaches in nutrition, mindfulness and common sense.

This book is grounded in reality and rationalism, while never losing sight of how amazing, beautiful, adventurous and strange that reality is. Unfortunately, many spiritual influencers, writers and speakers decorate their “teachings” with sci-fi-esque narratives that have absolutely no value or meaning, making already obscure esoteric principles all the more obscure.

This may be the most important thing this book can accomplish, and the most important thing that needs to be done in the larger spiritual community. We need to find a balance of enjoyment, accessibility and logic that will not only make these very important metaphysical concepts mainstream, but also, accepted. Our biggest struggle in the spiritual community has always been, explaining our beliefs in legitimate and understandable ways.

For those of you who know things without words, and feel the truth in certain experiences, don’t worry, that is an important part of what we are doing here. I know that we often feel things intuitively and so, speak in relaxed non-technical language. This is an honest version of spiritual jargon, because we have a knowing that what we say is true, but its hard to translate these transcendental experiences into mundane language. Although we know deep down that there is a “Language of the Heart” by which the Holy Spirit speaks, this is only half of our tool-kit in the journey of greater understanding.

Pay close attention to how I interweave the intuitive language of spirituality with the grounding power of logical and scientific methods. This will be extremely helpful for you to understand otherwise supernatural and metaphysical concepts, which will then strengthen your ability to make a case for spirituality for interested others. You are a trailblazer of a new way, which is really just a forgotten old way. Your most important task in this time (beyond personal cultivation) is ministering the divine importance of our metaphysical and supernatural experiences to those who would seek to understand, having a passion to reconnect with Great Spirit.

The next section will be a perfect example of how we take this “Spiritual Woo-Woo Language” and turn it into a scientific syntax that is both demonstrable and measurable without losing the essence of where it comes from, which is transcendent and deeply spiritual.

When we say “Open the pineal gland,” what we’re really saying is, “Decalcify the and detoxify that physical organ in your brain. When we say detoxify and decalcify, we are saying, removing heavy metals and salts from it’s soft tissue. All these seemingly occult phrases simple mean, remove that which prevents this important master gland from functioning properly.

When we say “Activate the Pineal Gland,” what we are actually saying is, feed the body the essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids, deprogram the mind out of its bad behaviors and inhibiting beliefs, and incorporate meditative practices that facilitate powerful altered states of consciousness conducive to mental and emotional evolution.

The ultimate goal of this book was to take the “third eye” out of the realm of obscurity and esotericism and into the light of understanding in a practical and easily comprehensible way. I hope I achieved that for each and every one of you. Peace, Love Respect, and God Bless. Enjoy.

Spiritual Woo-Woo

You will see these spiritual woo-woo alerts periodically throughout the book. When you see one of these you know that I will be pointing out a major trap in the spiritual community. The reason I do this is because spiritual woo-woo is the number one problem in spirituality. It is the epicenter of toxic behaviors and beliefs as well as the reason that the rest of the secular world doesn’t take us seriously. The criticisms of old religions that lied in order to get their tithes and get followers to prostrate themselves before the church are the same criticisms I have with our own community.

All things “spiritual” should be explainable in a rationally and reasonably way. It should be able to past the test of traditional research methods, both historical and scientific. You can’t justify something being true based on an “experience” you had with an ascended master or through communications with an “alien” that occurred within your own mind or bedroom while you were half asleep.

Consider the consequences of relying solely on various peoples personal conjecture on the supernatural. One, many people are being taken advantage of with new age snake oil salesmen who sell you that bridge in Jerusalem that doesn’t exist. They make up a mythology (or use a preexisting fake one), create a “Program” or a teaching surrounding it, and then sell that to people without any real value being given to them. They create a fantasy world and pretend to achieve things in the real world.

Secondly, bad mythologies are bad for our minds, hearts, and the world. If you get people believing in a false mythology or philosophy of life, it's only a matter of time before the natural consequences of defying truth in your real life come to fruition. Some people have thrown away their entire lives on bad philosophies, and even more, many have lost their lives. Cults, political movements, and other cultural frameworks have promoted violence and disdain against anyone who is not a member of that group while failing to stress the importance of personal agency, love for your neighbor and just simply doing good works; because their “god” takes care of all of that for them.

This leads to sloth and laziness, superiority complexes, a lack of conviction in one's own mistakes, and many other harmful outcomes that hurt the individual and all that he or she comes in contact with. Long story short, if their leader is an anthropomorphized old school god, and alien from a distant star system or some other form of ascended spiritual being, it's probably bullshit. You are on the path of becoming your own guru. And although we can help each other (as I will attempt to do in this book), everything you need to go on your epic journey is simply stored as unrealized potential within you.

I only remind you of who and what you are.
