Part I: Understanding Dreamtime

In the ruch and unknown traditions of Indigenous Australian and Native American cultures lies a profound concept known as "Dreamtime" or "The Dreaming" - an everpresent dimension of reality that exists parallel to our ordinary consciousness.

This understanding isn't merely playful stories passed-down through the generations - it calls upon a deep knowing that humans have felt throughout history. When we walk in nature, sit beneath ancient trees, or gaze at the stars, something within us recognizes the living consciousness that permeates everything.

Stories of this recognition span every culture and era - from shamanic journeys to mystical encounters to moments of spontaneous enlightenment while walking in the woods. There's a reason these experiences feel like remembering rather than learning - they tap into an innate understanding that this reality is alive, conscious, and responsive to our own consciousness.

These experiences transcend cultural and historical boundaries, pointing to a fundamental truth that Dreamtime isn’t state of sleep or imagination, but rather a hidden layer of existence that becomes accessible when you achieve a particular state of consciousness - much like the moment in a dream when you suddenly realize you're dreaming.

Just as that realization grants you the ability to fly or manipulate the dream environment, entering this state while awake may be what ancient traditions referred to when they spoke of enlightened beings manifesting seemingly supernatural abilities. The skills of a dreamwalker parallel those of a lucid dreamer, but instead of becoming conscious within sleep, you become conscious of the deeper reality behind your waking experience.

Consider for a moment the nature of your current reality. When you dream at night, the experience feels absolutely real until you awaken. But what if our waking reality operates on similar principles? What if there is a deeper knowing on the other side of the realization, that would feel exactly like when you realize your dreaming? Memories of your true existence would come flooding in and you would feel the true you that lives beyond the dream you’ve been living all your life.

What if this is the reason for our deep sense of wanting to go home in our modern world? Maybe our home, is dreamtime. Maybe this world really is the Kingdom of Heaven. All around you and upon you, yet still so far away. A haze or mirage in the back of your mind kept alive by the intuitive memory operating a cellular level. “We were like the gods.” Your sense of adventure, passion, love and courage call you to dreamtime. And it is time you answered.

Modern physics has revealed that at the quantum level, reality behaves in ways that defy our classical understanding. The observer effect shows us that consciousness itself plays a role in shaping reality, suggesting that perhaps the ancient wisdom of Dreamtime carries more truth than we initially assumed.

Dreamtime teaches us that reality is not a fixed, objective construct, but rather a living, breathing collaboration between consciousness and possibility. Like lucid dreamers who suddenly realize they're dreaming and gain the ability to shape their dream environment, dreamwalkers learn to maintain this same awareness in waking life.
